Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely
Absolute power will overcome you're inner self and take over your life. You'll get so used to being on top you feel like nobody can ever take your place and be better than you. You lose all dignity & respect that you have for everybody.
This quote could go two ways it could turn bad & good. In the good way the power wont overcome you as much as it normally would & you wouldnt let it get to you. Still have a good amount of respect for yourself and everybody else as they would have for you just act like a typical human. But when such a great amount of respect and power jumps to you, you normally are just overwhelmed with the thought and let it take over.
In the story macbeth started to proceed power right after he found out he was gonna become the official king. When it finnally happened he got all excited & it got to him he had the thought that he could go kill everybody. But it was alright for macbeth to kill people & people still acknowledged him because of the whole king name he felt like it was the right thing to do. But it all came back to him so that didnt last too long as he thought it would same for his wife.
A perfect real life example is a police officer just because they have the power they do. They feel as if they can get you if they want some way some how. Perfect example you get pulled over a cop could simply write a statement claiming you did a hit and run etc and you get caught theirs no proof your wrong you could hire a lawer but what much is that going to do, drugs is the same thing cops could slip drugs into your pockets and claim they found it either on you or in your car. Thier only one good principle that a cop has they cant enter or search your car without a eligable reason or warrant but even still they'll find their ways to do as they please. If your a enemy to them they'll get you in jail quickly a judge takes the same lead as well as a cop they take a police officers word over your's dont matter if your wrong or right the power takes place and their automatically right.
Power is such a strong word and can be abused in many different ways. Depending how your using power it could emotionally ruin you. Lose friendships lose respect etc.. the word & quote is proven in a everyday experiance in your house in your job during your education, In life in general theirs never a way to get away from it.

What do you think?
Describe the process you took to present your scene. What went well? Not so well? What would you do differently next time you had to do a scene?
In my scene we memorized are lines very well, but we couldve had more we made are scene very discrete and short. We didnt really practice as much as we should've. One of the main problems was me myself because im very shy and for me to act out infront of everybody was hard. The next time we have a play i personally could practice and act out better than I did. We could also make sure everybody shows up for practice & on the day of the plan. But overall we worked good as a group together.

preparation
Preparing for the macbeth project is very nerve racking for me. Im very shy & I havent really studied for my lines. For the most part though the actors in my group get along very well and we present the scene good the right stage left stage all that is whats getting us.
So What is up with Macduff?
Why would Macduff want to stay and celebrate macbeth becoming king when he had just paid the servants to set up duncan and kill him. He cheated to get his title of "king". Macduff will probably feel like hes going to betray him & do the same he probably dont feel safe and hes aggravated & disapointed with the whole situation. I dont think all the people at the party actually knew the details to duncans death but macduff, ross, & the servants. He probably almost feels like it'll be his obligation to spread it, it'll be better off for him not to go.
Weakness
To me i think Macbeth is weaker, he always gives in to everything but he did make it a long way keeping everything in and still fighting to be king. Lady Macbeth held her dignity and even through it all she kept her mouth shut for her husband stuck up & fought for him. When Macbeth found out Lady macbeth died did he really care? No. he teared and whined & what ever but if he really cared he woulda went right with her. She fought and stuck up for herself as for macbeth he needed everyone always their to back him up.
First day
Predicitons only come true if you believe in them. nobody can really predict the future especially you're future but you. If you see youreself succeeding in life then most likely thats how it'll turn out. But when you goto like a palm reader or a fortune teller to me its all what you want to believe. When you're in confrontation with a fortune teller im pretty sure they can just read your mind and your future goals & they just make up stuff to say that is believable to go along with your situation nobody will ever be able to tell if its true or if its really going to happen nobody can predict your future.
Directors
In acting their are many different ways to come about a scene. For instince a play with somebody going crazy losing their mind could be acted out funny or could be acted out serious. I think everybody has a different view on a play & how they would want to see the play acted out not just "how its supposed to be" its good for a switch up & to see multiple versions of a act. A director must go threw steps before actually acting a scene out, they must watch other plays similar to theirs and plan on changing up the emotions, the scenary, the clothing & lines. All the basic details.
Paranoia
I think macbeths paranoia is due to the consequence of what he did, duncan is just coming back to haunt him for not telling anybody or even his wife. I think duncan is trying to send clues to his surroundings by making macbeth see him at the party and also haunting lady macbeth in her sleep even though she had nothing to do with the murder. Then again i think its due to his weakness at the same time i think he feels guilty and he's holding to much in so its just catching up with him.

Directors
What are the factors that influence how a director presents a scene? Why do you think different directors see things so differently?
Many directors have a different way of acting out a script/play. They have different ways of expressing words & actions either in a good way or bad or by simply changing the mood along with the attitude. The scene can also make a difference in a act. for instance a character could be crying but with out it saying where the character could be in one place for one director and another for the other director aslong with why their crying it could be a good reason or it could be a bad reason. Theres sooo many different ways to switch up a scene

Questions
If their the right questions that bring out the main points in the text, it will help you understand more of whats going on. If its a clarifying question you have to look up information in the text to help you find the anwser which will help you analize it more and understand it alot better. Then theres future questions when you have no idea what the anwser is till you read ahead of what you have already done. My difficulties i found asking questions were making up the questions and trying to find a type of question to ask.
Do You Trust Me?
My personal opinion on trust is horrible... i personally dont think you can ever truly trust someone. Thats like trusting someone with your life over theirs. When clearly you know theyir life is more important to yours in most situations. You cant trust someone with a death rial but you can trust them with simple things. I think it depends on your level/ perspective on the word "trust". In Duncans & Macbeths situation they have no type of trust their both out to kill each other & both secretly dont know about it. Their both playing a innocent ohh i like you attitude when deep down their both out to get each other.

Manliness
To be a man in my eyes is to be responsible for you actions, being independant and sticking by your word, not letting others down, focusing on yourself, & being strong even through the tough times. I agree with Lady Mabeths point of view just because your a lady dont mean you canbt take full responsibilty and do man duty's. she took on the responsibility of getting the "deathj planning" in order talked to the guards told Macbeth what was going on instead of him doing it.

Unseamed Him From Nave to Chops
I think that Macbeth had won because it showed he wanted power & got it. Power is a strong word its like respect sort of like a feeling of admiration for someone because of there qualities, or achievements. Macbeth cut Macdonwald's body & chopped his head as they were fighting. The guy i see in Macbeths place is a guy that has guts, he stood up for himself & just ended the situation by killing him he showed no emotion or care. Basically like a problem solved in his eyes.
To Act or Not To Act
I think personally a person is not equally guilty if they did not take a part in a crime, they could've been a witness like anybody. They could be scared to leave the situation so they have no choice to stay & watch but does that make them guilty of attempting the crime ? No. their are defiantly levels of guilt within witnessing a crime but not taking part in it, it'll have a effect on you because you know what really happened and what really went down your like evidence.More like a solution to a problem.

The Bloody Play---Which Witches?
I think the roman polanski play was the best. It was the best play of what i had in my head. i pictured 3 middle class witches the older, middle, & younger. the only thing that was partially different i pictured them coming in on broom sticks not on a beach walking. The play could have had more say in it it didnt really talk much for us to know what was going on, but it showed good graphics. If we wouldnt have looked over the text though i would have been completly lost. The play was changed from shakespare way of reading the "witches" in the play were burrying a actual arm with a hand of macbeth but in the text they were talking about a guys personal area.
